Onion Creek Christmas

Headed home to good 'ol Onion Creek Washington for a nice 11 day holiday. It was wonderful to be home and see family!

We chased the sunset much of the way through the arctic circle, and it was stunning. A shot of the rockies and Mt. Baker:

Headed up to Nelson BC with Mom for some fun in the snow. We stayed the evening at the Hume Hotel, enjoying dinner in the library:

The next day we headed up to Whitewater to hit the slopes and enjoy the sunny weather!

And of course enjoy lunch at Whitewater's famous cafeteria. If a ski area's food is so good that they release cookbooks, you know they're doing something right.

Back in Onion Creek we got another sunny day and the family took a walk up the road to enjoy the view.

The hoarfrost was fantastic!

View from the top of our sledding hill. Mountains in the distance on the left is Red Mountain (in Canada).

One of the main gathering places in the Killings household. Coffee?

Pajamas and climbing on the roof, like ya do:

Victoria came up to do some snowshoeing, with some Santa hats in tow. You'll see they're a bit of a theme in all my pictures with Victoria :)

Adding this one mainly to give props to Heidi and Colin for their photo bomb:

Mi Familia. Hopefully we'll have Rachael and Chris in there next year too!
Merry Christmas!

Parting shots: Game night with Pendleton Whiskey, and a beautiful box of my Grandma's old ornaments.
